- Work Method of Statement (WMS)
A document detailing how specific construction tasks or processes will be carried out. It ensures that work is performed safely, efficiently, and to the required standards. It typically includes a step-by-step guide, safety precautions, and quality control measures.
- Risk Assessment (RA)
A systematic process to identify potential hazards in a construction project, evaluate the risks associated with those hazards, and implement measures to mitigate them. This ensures a safe working environment and compliance with safety regulations.
- Quality Assurance Plan (QAP)
A comprehensive document outlining the quality management system and policies to be followed for a project. It includes details on responsibilities, quality assurance processes, and procedures to meet project specifications and standards.
A framework describing the inspection and testing activities to ensure construction quality. It includes hold points, witness points, and records required at various stages of the project.
A detailed checklist used during inspections to verify that all necessary steps and quality standards are met. It helps in systematically identifying and resolving potential non-conformances.
- Material Inspection Request (MIR):-
A document submitted to the inspection of materials delivered to the site. It ensures that materials conform to the project specifications and are suitable for use in the construction process.
- Material approval reports (MAR):-
A materials approval reports is a document that conform the approval of materials for use in a construction project.
- Work Inspection Request (WIR) / Request for Inspection (RFI):-
A formal request made by the contractor to the QA/QC team to inspect completed work. This ensures that the work adheres to design specifications and quality requirements before proceeding to the next stage.
- Site Observation Report (SOR):-
A report documenting any observations or deviations from the planned construction process. It includes recommendations for rectification and helps maintain quality standards.
- Non-Conformance Report (NCR):-
A formal document issued when work or materials do not meet the required standards. It details the non-conformance, its cause, and proposed corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
- Corrective Action Report (CAR):-
A follow-up document to the NCR, detailing the steps taken to address and resolve non-conformance issues. It ensures accountability and continuous improvement in the quality management process.
- MEP Clearance:-
A document issued by the Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) team confirming that the respective works are completed and meet quality standards. It allows for further construction activities to proceed without conflicts.
