1. Bolt Type & Size: Confirm that anchor bolts match the design specifications (diameter, length, grade).
2. Bolt Positioning: Verify correct placement according to drawings (center-to-center distance, edge distance).
3. Embedment Depth: Ensure proper embedment in concrete as per design. Projection Height: Check if the bolt extends enough above the base plate for proper nut engagement.
4. Alignment & Verticality: Bolts should be plumb and aligned correctly. Thread Condition: Ensure threads are clean and undamaged before installing nuts.
5. Tightening & Torque: Confirm nuts are properly tightened to the specified torque.
6. Grouting & Epoxy (if applicable): Verify that grout or epoxy is applied properly .

inspection of Base Plate

1. Plate Dimensions & Thickness: Match with the design specifications. Hole Sizes & Alignment: Ensure anchor bolts fit properly in base plate holes. 2.Levelness & Elevation: Base plate should be level within the specified tolerance.
2. Shim & Grout Placement: Proper shimming before grouting; ensure grout is fully cured before loading.
3. Welding (if applicable): Check for proper welds if the base plate is welded to structural elements.
